Anshun City XPON Hotel Fiber-To-The-Room Project
As a famous tourist city, Anshun hosts a large number of boutique hotels and resort hotels that pursue high-quality guest accommodation experience. Traditional hotel network renovation usually requires complicated Ethernet cable layout, which brings high material costs, long construction cycles and unattractive indoor wiring. To solve these pain points, the Anshun City XPON project adopts a professional Fiber-To-The-Room (FTTR) solution for scenic area hotels, completely abandoning complicated network cable deployment, effectively reducing overall project investment and construction difficulty while upgrading hotel wireless network quality comprehensively.
This project applies our company’s self-developed WIFI6 XP8421AX XPON ONU product as the core terminal access device. The XP8421AX is a high-performance dual-band industrial and commercial-grade XPON terminal that perfectly supports both EPON and GPON dual-mode compatibility, featuring strong network adaptability and stable access performance. Different from ordinary household ONUs, this customized hotel-oriented terminal is optimized for high-density concurrent access scenarios, fully adapting to the peak internet access demands of tourist hotels during holidays and travel seasons.
Equipped with the latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology, the XP8421AX delivers a maximum wireless rate of1800Mbps. It adopts 1024-QAM modulation and 160MHz wide channel technology, greatly improving data transmission efficiency, network capacity and anti-interference capability. The dual-band design of 2.4GHz and 5GHz realizes complementary advantages: the 2.4GHz band provides wide and stable signal coverage covering every corner of guest rooms, while the low-interference 5GHz band supports ultra-high-speed and low-latency internet access. Whether guests conduct high-definition video streaming, cloud office, online gaming or large-file downloading, the terminal maintains smooth and stable network operation.
The biggest highlight of this FTTR networking solution is zero network cable deployment inside guest rooms. The entire network relies on passive optical fiber wiring, which features slender wiring, easy concealment and beautiful decoration. It avoids damage to hotel interior decoration caused by traditional wired reconstruction, shortens the project construction cycle, and significantly saves labor costs, wiring materials and later maintenance investment for hotel network upgrading. For tourist hotels, this solution not only reduces upfront capital investment but also retains the high-end and elegant indoor decoration style, improving hotel grade and competitiveness.
In actual hotel operation scenarios, our XP8421AX terminals perform excellently in high-density access environments. Multiple guest rooms can access the network concurrently without network congestion, delay surge or signal disconnection. Compared with traditional network equipment, the product has stronger heat dissipation performance and operational stability, supporting 24/7 long-term uninterrupted operation, which meets the continuous and stable network operation demands of hotels all year round.
Through the deployment of the XPON FTTR solution and mass application of XP8421AX Wi-Fi 6 terminals, all cooperative hotels in Anshun have achieved comprehensive network iteration.
